Education : B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE, CS, EEE Notice Period : Immediate to 3 months Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain multimedia drivers (audio, video) for embedded systems. - Port multimedia drivers to various hardware platforms and operating systems (Linux). - Optimize multimedia driver performance for low-power and high-performance scenarios. - Develop and integrate multimedia codecs and frameworks into the driver stack. - Work closely with hardware teams to ensure optimal multimedia module integration. - Troubleshoot and resolve multimedia-related issues. - Stay updated with the latest multimedia technologies and industry trends. Required Skills : - Strong proficiency in C programming language. - In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel and device driver development. - Experience with multimedia hardware interfaces (I2S, SPDIF, HDMI, USB). - Understanding of audio and video codecs (AAC, MP3, H.264, VP9, etc.). - Familiarity with multimedia frameworks (GStreamer, FFmpeg). - Experience with debugging tools and techniques. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Responsibilities : Test development, integration, debugging and maintenance of a C++ based video subsystem with a focus on Accelerated User Space Libraries (USL). Maintaining the C++ based middleware stack. Debugging the video subsystem and ability to run the tests on the ECU architecture. Ownership of the end-to-end technology stack and drivers. Alignment of requirements, changes and roadmap with the internal stakeholders. Must have Experience: Expertise in developing automotive/EE tests in C++. Additional experience in Python is an added value. Experience in computer vision, image processing or video codec H.264/H.265. Handson experience with video coding, OpenCV or OpenGL (or similar technologies). Familiarity with high-level accelerated APIs for GPU/DSP(s) (Based on public interfaces/SDK from supplier) e.g. open standards like OpenCL/Vulkan and ONNX. Deep knowledge about the standards is good to have but not essential. Background in ISO 26262 and ASIL based safety analysis would be an added plus. Able to review and fix integration build scripts (Based on bazel build system) Able to identify design issues in high level C/C++ API(s) Able to read coredumps and backtraces from crashes Familiarity with POSIX based operating systems including Linux and QNX Experience with Boardnet technologies such as Ethernet, SomeIP and CAN. Experience with automotive Diagnostic Log and Trace (DLT) and Automotive Diagnosis. Experience in the ADAS domain preferred. Ability to work independently and take corresponding decisions.

Work with Ethernet Multimedia Codec to ensure efficient media streaming and transmission. Implement and optimize H.264 and H.265 video compression and encoding techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and validation teams. Debug and troubleshoot performance issues in multimedia applications. Ensure compliance with automotive software development standards and best practices. Qualifications: University degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Computer Science or similar Minimum 5 years of embedded software development experience Strong programming skills in C++ (modern C++ standards preferred) Proficiency in H.264 and H.265 video compression and encoding Experience in multimedia streaming on Ethernet Prior experience in automotive embedded systems is highly desirable. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills Good communication skills
