Capgemini is seeking an experienced Guidewire Policycenter application developer to join the dynamic team. Our client, a key player in the insurance sector with gross written premiums exceeding US$25 Billion, offers top-tier insurance and financial services to millions of households across the U.S. This role provides an exciting opportunity to utilize cutting-edge AI technology in quality assurance, ensuring the delivery of superior products to users. The ideal candidate must possess technical expertise in Java, Guidewire, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing enhancements to the Guidewire PolicyCenter application. The successful candidate will work closely with SMEs, Architects, and Product Owners to translate requirements into Technical / Integration Design Document (IDD). Additionally, writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Gosu and Java is a crucial aspect of this role. Other responsibilities include performing unit testing, integration testing, and production shakeout validation to ensure quality and functionality. The candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues, as well as providing ongoing support.
