In this role, you will need to showcase your technical prowess in various aspects of web development. For Front-End Development, proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a must, along with experience in front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. An understanding of responsive design principles and familiarity with code editors and basic design tools will be essential. For Back-End Development, a strong command of PHP, proficiency in MySQL and SQL, experience with API integration, and knowledge of security best practices and vulnerabilities are vital. Proficiency in using Git for version control is also expected. Specific to WordPress, you should possess a deep understanding of its core, including architecture and template hierarchy. Proficiency in creating custom themes and plugins, familiarity with the Gutenberg editor and its API, experience with debugging and testing techniques, and knowledge of site speed optimization techniques are required. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development, encompassing both front-end and back-end aspects. A portfolio of previous WordPress projects will be evaluated to gauge your skills and experience. In addition to technical skills, soft skills play a crucial role in this role.
