Key Responsibilities Maintain accounts receivable and payable, process invoices, and reconcile statements. Post and process journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and other required reports. Perform regular reconciliations of bank and general ledger accounts. Support payroll processing and help with payroll data entry. Update financial records in accounting software ensuring accuracy and timely documentation. Assist with budget preparation, internal and external audits, and compliance with statutory requirements. Manage petty cash and help process student or vendor payments as required. Prepare and submit routine reports to management and assist with other accounting tasks as assigned. Requirements Working experience of 3-4 years Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Good understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel, and ERP solutions). Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Effective communication and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience, internship, or training in accounts will be an advantage. Knowledge of statutory compliance in educational institutions is a plus.
