The position you are applying for is a Scrum team lead with experience in Guidewire integration. As a Scrum team lead, your responsibilities will include: - Experience in PolicyCenter configuration teams through multiple implementation phases. - Strong hands-on expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration APD/SBT experience - Proficient with Gosu programming language and Guidewire Studio - Responsible for code quality, best practices, peer reviews - Guidewire ACE certification in PolicyCenter Configuration Nice to have skills for this role are: - In-depth knowledge of P&C industry specially personal and commercial lines - Experience in JIRA, Slack, Git, Jenkins and similar tools - Familiarity with BillingCenter or ClaimsCenter configuration and how they integrate with PolicyCenter The ideal candidate for this position should be a GW PC Config developer with experience in PC (Policy Center) configuration. This role involves working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to customize workflows, screens, and business rules, ensuring the effective operation of policy administration processes. Key Responsibilities: Configuration and Customization: Configure Guidewire PolicyCenter to meet business and technical requirements. Customize workflows, user interfaces, and business rules within the PolicyCenter module. Solution Development: Develop configuration solutions using Guidewire Studio and GOSU programming language. Implement data model changes, screen layouts, and integration points as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Stay updated with new Guidewire releases and implement upgrades as necessary. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in configuring and developing solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter. Proficient in GOSU programming and Guidewire Studio. Strong understanding of insurance business processes and PolicyCenter functionality. Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with other Guidewire modules such as ClaimCenter or BillingCenter. Experience with integration technologies like Web Services and APIs. Knowledge of XML, JSON, and other data interchange formats. Understanding of insurance industry standards and practices.
