Guidewire Rating PC QA

As a skilled and detail-oriented Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating QA Engineer, you will be responsible for validating and verifying the Rating Engine within Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure rating algorithms and calculations meet business and regulatory requirements. - Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts focused on Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating functionalities. - Validate rating algorithms, premium calculations, and configuration changes across multiple insurance lines. - Perform manual and automated testing for Rating Engine components and integrations. - Review business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios and edge cases. - Collaborate with developers and Client to clarify requirements and triage defects. - Conduct regression testing, data validation, and back-end verification using SQL and tools like SOAP UI/Postman. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and quality benchmarks. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing estimates, test status, and feedback. - Document test results, log defects, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Qualification Required: - 3+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter, with at least 2 years focused on Rating Engine QA. - Strong understanding of insurance domain concepts, especially personal and commercial lines rating. - Experience with Guidewire Configuration and Rating Worksheets. - Familiarity with Gosu scripting and Guidewire Data Model is a plus. - Strong hands-on experience in SQL, data validation, and test data preparation. - Exposure to API testing using tools like SOAP UI or Postman. - Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management. - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.,
