Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer

Role Overview: As a Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu and Guidewire Studio. Your role will involve analyzing, designing, and implementing changes to the PolicyCenter data model, product model, rating engine, and underwriting rules. You will also develop and consume web services for integration with third-party systems and internal applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality technical solutions are delivered. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu and Guidewire Studio. - Analyze, design, and implement changes to the PolicyCenter data model, product model, rating engine, and underwriting rules. - Develop and consume web services (SOAP/REST) for integration with third-party systems and internal applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration and integration issues. - Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning as part of an Agile/Scrum development team. - Maintain source code using version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket. Qualifications: - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and development. - Proficient in Gosu programming language and development using Guidewire Studio. - In-depth understanding of PolicyCenter data model, product model, and rating engine. - Experience in implementing and customizing underwriting rules. - Strong knowledge of SOAP/RESTful web services and API integrations. - Solid understanding of the Property & Casualty insurance domain. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
