Job Description

You are an experienced Agilist with 10 to 12 years of experience, possessing mandatory technical expertise in Guidewire and preferably domain experience in Property & Casualty Insurance. You will be joining our team in a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. Your main responsibilities will include leading agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure effective collaboration and progress. You will oversee the development and implementation of Guidewire solutions to meet business requirements and enhance system functionality. Providing guidance and support to the team in adopting agile methodologies and best practices to improve efficiency and productivity is also a crucial aspect of your role. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables, fostering a culture of continuous improvement will be part of your daily tasks. Monitoring and tracking project progress, identifying and addressing any impediments to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions, will be essential. Effective communication between stakeholders is also a key responsibility to ensure that expectations are clearly understood and met. Driving the adoption of agile tools and techniques, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability within the team, is important. Ensuring that the team adheres to agile principles and practices, providing coaching and mentoring as needed, is also part of your role. You will conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to support their professional growth. Analyzing and reporting on project metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Supporting the team in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively, is crucial. You will also foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing. Contributing to the continuous improvement of agile processes and practices within the organization is expected from you. Qualifications required for this role include extensive experience with Guidewire demonstrating a deep understanding of its capabilities and applications. A strong background in agile methodologies with a proven track record of successfully leading agile teams is necessary. Additionally, domain experience in Property & Casualty Insurance would be advantageous, providing valuable industry insights and expertise. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges are also essential. You should be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.,
