Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manual QA Testing
:
Perform
manual functional testing
of
Guidewire
applications, ensuring that the system behaves as expected.
Design, execute, and report on test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
Test Documentation
:
Document test cases, results, defects, and progress to ensure transparency in the testing process.
Collaborate with development and business teams to refine and validate requirements.
Integration Testing
:
While not mandatory, experience with
integration testing
is highly desirable to ensure the Guidewire system interacts seamlessly with other applications and services.
Collaboration and Reporting
:
Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to communicate testing progress and issues.
Provide regular updates and defect reports to ensure the timely resolution of identified issues.
Problem Solving
:
Identify, troubleshoot, and report software defects and issues, ensuring that they are resolved before moving to production.

Required Qualifications:

Experience
: 5-7 years of experience in
functional testing
with a focus on
Guidewire
applications.
Skills
: Proven experience in
manual QA testing

integration testing
is a
nice-to-have
.
Strong understanding of
QA processes
and
test case creation
.
Excellent
communication skills
for interacting with cross-functional teams.
