Job Description

Role Overview: You will be a highly motivated and skilled Guidewire Developer with 2-4 years of experience, responsible for the development, configuration, and implementation of Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications. By collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality solutions to meet clients' needs. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter applications. - Customize Guidewire applications using GOSU, Java, and XML to fulfill specific business requirements. - Develop and maintain integrations between Guidewire applications and external systems. - Configure and customize Guidewire screens, workflows, and business rules. - Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure quality deliverables. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Guidewire applications. - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. - Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Guidewire applications. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Guidewire technologies and best practices. - Create and maintain technical documentation. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire development and configuration. - Strong knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceSuite products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). - Proficiency in GOSU programming language. - Experience with Java, XML, and SQL. - Experience with Guidewire Studio. - Understanding of insurance industry business processes and data. - Experience with web services (SOAP, REST) and integration technologies. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
