About the job:

Are you a Guidewire BillingCenter (BC) configuration developer specialized in customizing and extending the functionality of Guidewire's BillingCenter application. This role involves configuring various aspects of the application to meet specific business requirements for insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Modify and extend the data model by adding fields or creating new entities.
• Customize the user interface, including changing the look and feel, adding new screens, or modifying existing ones.
• Implement security policies and customize permissions.
• Create and manage business-specific rules for validation, work assignment, and task automation.
• Define and implement workflows to streamline business processes.
• Integrate BillingCenter with external systems for data exchange.
• Use Guidewire's integration tools and accelerators to facilitate seamless data flow.
• Produce technical design documents for configuration and integration points.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the BillingCenter application.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in Gosu, the programming language used in Guidewire applications.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Studio, Guidewire Cloud, and other development tools.
• Understanding of insurance processes and terminology.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues within the BillingCenter application.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Relevant certifications in Guidewire BillingCenter or related technologies are preferrable.
