About the role: The Precision Oncology Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving our commercial growth in India by serving as the scientific and medical leader responsible for engaging and building strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals to advance adoption of precision medicine and support the integration of genomic testing into cancer care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Drive the growth of Guardant Health AMEA revenue in India in collaboration with local and international cross-functional teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, oncologists, academic centers, healthcare professionals, and industry partners to promote adoption of precision medicine and genomic testing and enhance the company’s scientific reputation. Develop new business partnerships to ensure effective commercial growth, brand consistency, and clinical adoption in India. Lead educational initiatives, advocacy efforts, and presentations at scientific forums, conferences, CME events, and institutional meetings to promote the value of precision medicine and genomic testing in cancer care. Align with strategic initiatives and implement them to support integration of genomic insights into routine patient care. Present deeply technical information and help physicians understand the positioning of our products with respect to the patients that they see in their clinics. Support investigators with clinical and economic evaluations (e.g., ISTs, in-practice studies), protocol development, data collection, and regulatory queries. Familiar with local regulatory knowledge and clinical practice guidelines related to genomic testing and clinical oncology. Develop and deliver tailored medical strategies aligned with market needs and clinical guidelines. Review and prepare educational materials and scientific content based on new publications and research findings. Facilitate engagement opportunities for Guardant leadership with KOLs and other key physician influencers. Attend and report on key scientific congresses, supporting deep-dive educational sessions and VIP visits. Travel extensively (50%+) to support key doctors, accounts, and partnerships across India. Required Qualifications & Preferred Experience: Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Oncology, or related field. Medical Doctor (MD) preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in Oncology and Biomarker Demonstrated strong relationships with KOLs in Oncology across India preferred. Demonstrated capability to develop and deliver bespoke medical strategy based on the portfolio and market needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse audience. Willingness to travel (at least 50% of the month) to support key doctors and accounts across India.
