You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with Canadian GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements. You will also be accountable for accurate GST/HST filings and ensuring compliance with all CRA tax regulations and deadlines. As a part of your responsibilities, you will supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff. Additionally, you will coordinate month-end and year-end close processes. It is essential to have knowledge in cloud accounting on platforms such as QBO or Zero. Previous experience in managing end-to-end accounting processes and teams is a prerequisite for this role. While a CA or CPA qualification is preferred, it is not mandatory if you possess relevant experience that meets the requirements of the position.,
