GST Compliance & Advisory

• Handle end-to-end GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C, and reconciliations.
• Review GST returns and ensure accuracy and adherence to statutory timelines.
• Provide advisory support on GST implications, classifications, valuations, and input tax credit (ITC).

Notices, Replies & Litigation Support

• Draft, review, and finalize replies to GST notices, scrutiny notices, show cause notices (SCNs), and audit queries.
• Prepare detailed submissions, statements of facts, and legal arguments.
• Coordinate and represent the organization/client before GST authorities, including departmental hearings.
• Support appellate proceedings and liaise with consultants/advocates where required.

Representation & Presentation

• Present GST positions clearly and confidently before tax officers during hearings, audits, and assessments.
• Conduct internal discussions and client meetings to explain GST positions and litigation status.
• Prepare presentations, case summaries, and documentation for management and clients.

Process & Team Management

• Guide and review the work of junior team members.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of GST records.
• Identify GST risks and suggest corrective or preventive measures.

Coordination & Reporting

• Act as a point of contact for GST-related matters with internal teams, clients, and authorities.
• Track notice status, deadlines, and outcomes.
• Prepare periodic reports on GST compliance and litigation matters.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Educational Background:

  CA inter/CA/ Mcom specialization in Indirect Taxation
• Strong expertise in GST laws, rules, and procedures

• Experience:

  Minimum 2years in GST litigation, tax law, or indirect taxation
• Excellent drafting skills for notices, replies, and legal submissions
• Experience in GST representation and hearings
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
