As an Export-Import Officer (Documentation) based in Aurangabad, you will be responsible for various crucial aspects of the export process. Your primary duties will include the accurate preparation of invoices and packing lists for export shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Collaborating with relevant departments to gather necessary information for precise documentation will be essential to your success in this role. Additionally, you will be required to coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA) to ensure timely preparation and submission of clearance documents. Following up with CHA to verify and complete the checklist for customs clearance will be part of your routine tasks. Furthermore, you will play a key role in preparing essential export customer documents such as Certificate of Origin, Analysis Report, and GSP Form (Form-A). Communication with the Quality department to obtain Lab/Test reports for inclusion in the export documentation will be crucial for meeting regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating accurate vessel details and promptly communicating this information to export customers. Providing comprehensive post-shipment information to export customers, including dispatch details and vessel details, will be part of your daily routine. Maintaining a systematic organization of all export documents, categorizing them customer-wise and export-wise, will be crucial for efficient document management. You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting all necessary export documents to bankers, following up to obtain a docket number for tracking purposes. Regular communication with export customers, providing updates on shipment details and addressing any inquiries or concerns related to export documentation, will be a key aspect of your role. Your ability to interact effectively with internal departments, CHA, and export customers will be essential. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, International Business, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in export-import documentation within a manufacturing setting. An in-depth understanding of export regulations, documentation requirements, and international trade practices is required. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines are essential qualities for this position. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires working 6 days a week from the office in Aurangabad.
