As a Software Engineer (Developer - Analyst/Associate) in the Corporate Treasury Engineering team at Goldman Sachs, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Corporate Treasury business partners to enhance liquidity projections, optimize financial resource allocation, manage cash and collateral, and execute funds transfer pricing strategies. The Corporate Treasury Engineering team is a unique front-to-back integrated group that is dedicated to exploring new ideas for optimizing firm liquidity and executing strategies in a cohesive manner. Within the team, you will have the chance to contribute to various pillars with specific mandates, such as scalable big data architecture, liquidity optimization algorithms, and direct collaboration with Traders on trade execution and risk management. Being part of the Corporate Treasury team at Goldman Sachs means being at the core of the firm's operations, ensuring adequate funding for all businesses, optimizing liquidity, and managing risks effectively. You will be exposed to a wide range of important activities within the firm, providing you with valuable insights and challenges on a daily basis. In this role, you will work on developing quantitative techniques and technological solutions to solve complex business problems, partnering with the firm's treasurer and various business units. Your responsibilities will include front-to-back liquidity modeling, utilizing technologies such as Kafka and Spark for data processing and analysis, as well as developing software tools for data analysis, metric calculation, and decision-making support to reduce interest expenses. The technology stack you will work with includes Java, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Angular, React, DB2, MongoDB, Oracle, GS Search, Elastic search, and Kafka. Experience with cloud application development, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, container-based deployment, monitoring, and automated regression tool building will be advantageous for this role. As part of a global team with a diverse range of experience levels, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with both senior and junior developers, learning from their expertise while also contributing your own skills. The role requires a willingness to learn new technologies, languages, and business concepts, and the ability to cover a breadth of skills across front end, back end, DevOps, and product management. Your responsibilities will include taking ownership of system design, development, testing, and documentation, collaborating with global business users and developers, and gaining a deep understanding of the business domain and requirements. Basic qualifications for this role include a degree in a STEM subject or equivalent work experience, at least 6 years of professional coding experience, proficiency in object-oriented or functional languages, database technologies, technical and analytical skills, as well as a team-oriented and self-motivated attitude.,
