Responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the installation of tank structures, piping systems, and mechanical equipment in compliance with industry codes and project specifications. 2. Key Responsibilities: Design and review tank structures, piping layouts, and mechanical equipment. Ensure compliance with API 650, AWWA 100, API 620, ASME B31.3, ASME Sec VIII standards. Perform stress analysis, material selection, and equipment sizing. Develop and review engineering drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). Prepare technical documents, specifications, and calculation reports. Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and clients. Support procurement and construction teams by resolving technical issues. Conduct site visits for inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Ensure adherence to HSE and quality management systems. 3. Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree (preferred). Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering within the oil & gas, refinery, or EPC industry. Experience in tank design, piping systems, and pressure vessels is required. Certifications: API 650, API 620, ASME B31.3, ASME Sec VIII certifications (preferred). 4. Technical Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PV Elite, Caesar II , or similar engineering software. Strong understanding of mechanical codes and standards. Experience in conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and stress calculations. Knowledge of welding procedures, material selection, and fabrication techniques. 5. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. 6. Work Conditions: Based at project site or office with occasional field visits. May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.
