About Grumpy Beard Media We create virality. Period. Grumpy Beard Media is a 360° marketing agency that specialises in influencer-led campaigns, meme marketing, and storytelling that makes brands trend. We partner with leading industry names to help them break into culture, capture attention, and spark conversation. If it made you laugh, share, or screenshot, we probably had a hand in it. About The Role This is a hands-on internship designed as a runway to a full-time role. You won’t be parked on the sidelines; you’ll be in the room where campaigns are shaped, decisions are made, and work is done. You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy and operations: turning cultural signals into actionable plans, helping shape decks that sell the idea, coordinating creators and partners, and keeping campaign workflows tight from brief to live to wrap. You’ll be judged on clarity, speed, and judgment. If you consistently bring order to the chaos and move work forward without drama, you’ll be considered for conversion. This is not a shadow internship. What You’ll Do Assist in planning and executing brand campaigns across digital, social, and influencer channels. Build and maintain an inventory of meme pages, creators, and distribution partners. Coordinate with influencers/meme pages on deliverables, timelines, and asset tracking. Support campaign scheduling, track live status, and keep dependencies green. Monitor, analyse, and report performance and engagement metrics—clearly and on time. Join brainstorms, contribute sharp ideas, and help build client-ready pitch decks. Research emerging formats, creator trends, and cultural moments that brands can leverage. Own one component end-to-end by Day 45 (e.g., performance reporting, creator tracker, or weekly trends note). What You’ll Learn How campaigns move from client brief → pitch → launch → optimisation. Mechanics of influencer marketing, meme seeding, and digital distribution. Tools and processes for campaign tracking, reporting, and performance optimisation. Cross-functional collaboration among strategy, creative, and production teams. How content, culture, and creators converge to drive brand attention. Who We’re Looking For Eligibility: You’ve already graduated (UG or PG completed). We are not accepting candidates who are currently pursuing graduation or post-graduation. Recent graduates or early-career professionals open to full-time conversion (this is not a credits-only summer stint) . Strong interest in pop culture, storytelling, social media, and digital trends. Clear communicator who writes tidy copy and builds clean slides. Detail-oriented, organised, proactive; comfortable with structured workflows and shifting priorities. Self-starter with an ownership mindset and reliable follow-through. Background (preferred): Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication/Media Studies, Journalism/English/Communications, Business/Management/Economics, or Data/Analytics. (From another discipline? Apply if you can show fit with a small portfolio/project.) Culture (non-negotiable): We live our standards every workday—ownership, high craft, clear talk with follow-through, bias for action, impact, and everyday leadership. If that’s not you, this won’t be a fit. Growth & Conversion Path This internship is a serious audition for FTE . You’ll get: Direct exposure to live work and client-ready deliverables. Candid feedback loops and weekly checkpoints. A conversion review at ~90 days based on delivery, judgment, writing quality, and ownership. Strong performers will be considered for a full-time offer. Logistics Work mode: Primarily remote (work-from-home). Location preference: Bengaluru is ideal for occasional in-person jams, but we’re open to strong candidates anywhere in India . Duration: 3 months (extendable). Stipend Approx. ₹8,000–₹10,000 per month. Structured across the internship; specifics shared at the offer stage. FTE Conversion Strong performers will be considered for a full-time offer. Any FTE offer will be higher than the internship stipend and aligned with market levels for junior roles, based on performance and skills.
