Objective of the position: The Business Development Head will be responsible for driving growth, identifying new opportunities, and expanding the companys footprint in the renewable energy sector. This role requires strategic planning, market analysis, and strong leadership to develop partnerships and secure high-value projects. Key Responsibilities Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for expanding the companys presence in the renewable energy market. Responsible for Pre-Qualification, Track of Projects, Bid Submission, Bid Management, Forex Hedge Rate, Logistic Input, Order Negotiation, Order Closure, Contract signing, Order Transfer to Project Team, Invoicing, Sales PBIT, Working Capital Cost, Claim Management, Account Receivable, Closure of Projects involving entire Project order life cycle. Business Development through Market Research for a selective area, Identification of Potential Market globally for a specific sector. Identification and Relation building with various Investors / ECA / Exim Banks / World Bank / Consultants/ Process Licensors / JV Partners / EPCs/ LSTK Companies/ Consortium/ Suppliers/ Erection Contractors/ Govt. Corporations need to achieve Market Intelligence and draw a strategic business plan. Development and coordination with Foreign Business Associates / Agents / Global Offices / Local Channel Partners to have Market Dominance. Hawk Eye on Rivals movement, Rival’s product offering, their reference installation, Organizational chart, SWOT Analysis. Managing Team to offer sustainable solutions by getting technically superior and commercially viable proposals prepared for customers by optimally utilizing resources and coordinating with various departments like Proposals, Tenders, Process, Thermal, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Detail Engineering, Research and Development, Purchase, Logistics, Legal, Treasury, Export-Import, Planning, Commissioning as well as Finance. Market Analysis: Identify emerging trends, regulatory changes, and competitive positioning to drive business growth. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industrial clients, government bodies, and investors. Sales & Revenue Generation: Drive sales of renewable energy solutions, ensuring profitability and long-term sustainability. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients and partners to secure favorable agreements. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical, legal, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of projects. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the business development team to achieve strategic objectives. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all business activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
