Job Summary: The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This includes cost estimation, budgeting, risk analysis, procurement, and ensuring value for money while meeting legal and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates , budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for construction projects. Manage and monitor project costs from initial calculations to final figures. Prepare tender documents , contracts, budgets, and reports. Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis on proposed projects. Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project delivery within budget. Track variations to the contract and provide necessary cost analysis and reporting. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify completed works against invoices. Assist in resolving contract disputes and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide advice on procurement strategy , including subcontracting, tendering, and negotiation. Prepare monthly valuations and final accounts, and handle payment applications.
