JOB TITLE: - TEAM MEMBER FUNCTIONAL REPORTING: - GROUP LEAD / Team Lead ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTING: - DEPARTMENT HEAD BACKGROUND EDUCATIONAL ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE: - B.E/B.TECH/M.TECH GRADUATION/POST GRADUATION IN MECHANICAL / AUTOMOBILE / ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING Experience : 6 to 7 years JOB ROLE RESPONSIBILITY Understanding of impact of various vehicle dynamic parameters such as RHB, NVH, Drivability, crash etc. and have a balance between cost, weight efficiency (FE/Range). Understanding of various vehicle dynamic parameters terminologies related to fuel efficiency emission like mode FE, Energy efficiency cycle etc. Be able to estimate the impact of changing various vehicle parameters (using some form of MBD) on emission such as impact on FE due to weight on center of gravity etc. Interact with testing teams for analyzing failures, correlate the results of CAE with physical testing results and making improvements in CAE model. Be able to predict the market strategy of various OEM from point of view of launches of various powertrains, alternate fuel and vehicle positioning. (like selection of sub-4m vehicle with large engine to have provision of turbo etc.) COMPETENCY REQUIRMENTS. (TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL / BEHIVIOURAL) Thorough understanding of automotive engineering and regulatory and testing guidelines (ex. CAF , JC08, WLTP, MIDC etc.). Thorough understanding the impact of various aspects on vehicle emission and fuel efficiency. Understand Vehicle dynamics and relationship of each component over vehicle performance. Basic knowledge of CAD software e.g. UG NX. Experience of Project Management will be added advantage. On-road driving experience of 2 years is must. Preferrable hands on experience of using operating a Dyno. SPECIFIC SKILLS: MS office, Driving skills, UG-NX dynamic evaluation software like ADAMS
