Your primary responsibilities will include managing a team of Operations Associates on the ground, overseeing daily tasks efficiently, and ensuring operational success. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with bus stations and operators, promoting collaboration and smooth operations. Conducting audits, gathering stakeholders" feedback to ensure compliance with safety regulations, and operational standards will also be part of your role. Monitoring and enhancing operational KPIs, ensuring adherence to processes and standards, and identifying and addressing risks are crucial aspects of the position. Additionally, you will be accountable for identifying and establishing stations across the region, collaborating closely with the Network Planning & Operations team. Monitoring and analyzing KPIs for stations, including punctuality, service quality, accessibility, and compliance, and working on customer satisfaction initiatives to enhance the station experience are key responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, along with 2-6 years of experience in operations management, preferably within rapidly growing startups in transportation, logistics, mobility, or delivery sectors. Experience in managing and training ground teams and designing operational processes is advantageous. Strong analytical skills, resilience in high-pressure environments, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented approach are essential qualities. This role, based in Mumbai, offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless execution of our ground operational processes, data analysis, and vendor management. Your primary responsibilities will include managing day-to-day interactions with operators to ensure seamless service, overseeing vehicle preparation and customization, and leading a team of Operations Associates to efficiently execute daily tasks and ensure overall operational success. Building strong relationships with bus stations and operators, monitoring and enhancing operational KPIs, optimizing platform data and processes, and supporting operators with training content for drivers are also key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting audits, gathering stakeholder feedback, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards by traveling across West India to meet bus operators and visit bus stations. To thrive in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, possess 4-7+ years of experience in operations management (preferably in rapidly scaling startups in transportation, logistics, mobility, or delivery sectors), and demonstrate expertise in managing and training ground teams as well as designing operational processes. Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the West India consumer tech landscape, resilience in fast-paced environments, attention to detail, and a proactive, customer-oriented attitude are essential qualities.
