We are looking for a proactive and responsible Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our supermarket. The Store Manager will be accountable for managing staff, ensuring smooth floor operations, monitoring stock and inventory, maintaining product displays, and removing expired goods. The role requires leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail to deliver excellent customer service and maintain store standards. Staff Management: Supervise and guide floor staff, cashiers, and support team. Schedule shifts, assign daily duties, and monitor staff performance. Train and motivate team members to ensure excellent customer service. Inventory & Stock Management: Regularly check stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment. Maintain accurate stock records and prevent stockouts or overstocking. Identify slow-moving items and suggest promotions/discounts. Store Operations & Floor Management: Ensure proper product display on racks according to planograms. Regularly inspect shelves to remove damaged or expired products. Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards across the store. Customer Service: Address customer queries, complaints, and requests promptly. Ensure a pleasant shopping experience through well-maintained aisles and courteous staff. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and local regulations. Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales, staff performance, and stock movement. Implement loss prevention measures and minimize wastage.
