As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for various tasks including Grid Installation and Grid Upgradation, along with expertise in Oracle RAC, Performance Tuning, Dataguard, and knowledge of Golden gate. You should possess an expert level understanding of Oracle database architecture and work effectively with different teams to resolve performance issues. Specializing in Oracle RAC, you must have a good comprehension of the complexity of RAC Architecture across Servers, OS, network, and storage layers. Exposure to working on Oracle Engineered systems such as Exadata, SSC box, and ExaCM is desirable. Additionally, you should have strong SQL tuning skills and experience in refactoring SQL queries for performance improvements. Your role will require you to diagnose performance issues across various levels from SQL to Application to Database to System to Storage. You should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate through the infrastructure layer to identify and resolve issues effectively. Expertise in Oracle database's backup recovery options, high availability features, and the ability to work under pressure in a production environment on databases across different operating systems are essential requirements.
