Your role as a Power Trading Analyst in the Energy team will involve conducting research on power markets in India, Japan, and the USA, developing and implementing strategies to maximize the value of energy assets. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing trading strategies, analyzing and optimizing data models, performing comprehensive market analysis, adopting best practices for trading operations, developing collaborative recommendations, monitoring market conditions, engaging in continuous learning, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in renewable energy trading, clear knowledge of real-time dispatch management in renewable energy plants, familiarity with regulatory requirements and grid codes, solid understanding of global renewable power markets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. You are expected to hold a bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications like Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) are advantageous. Proficiency in data analysis software, computer modeling programs, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
