Job Title: Site Engineer Location: Jayanagar Experience Required: 2+ years Industry: Architecture Firm Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer with 2 years of hands-on experience, preferably in an architectural or design-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between architectural design intent and on-site construction activities, ensuring smooth execution and compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily site activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule. Coordinate between the architectural team, contractors, and consultants to maintain design integrity on-site. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards. Provide technical support and resolve any on-site issues related to construction methods or design interpretations. Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, and documentation. Assist in quantity take-offs, material procurement planning, and resource allocation. Ensure that all site work complies with local building codes, regulations, and company policies. Communicate regularly with project managers and report on construction status, risks, or delays. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 2+ years of experience working on construction sites, preferably with architectural firms or design-build projects. Strong understanding of architectural drawings, structural layouts, and MEP coordination. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and site documentation tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Preferred: Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments. Familiarity with green building concepts and sustainable practices. Knowledge of Autocad software (Revit ) is a plus.
