The EPT team is playing a crucial role in transformational initiatives and maintaining digital payments change. In Payments we are moving with API first approach. We are transitioning to Continuous Integration and Deployment using the Horizon Platform and focused on test automation using SOATest. Team here is involved in executing strategies like NEVER DOWN, and Payment Simplification. Platform Stability as part of Never Down is also a focus area due to the need for high availability of the payments platform for our customers. Job Description* Merchant Services Support Engineer Solid understanding of the SDLC, ITIL processes, change management, release management and configuration management. Knowledge of Payment industry, Cards, ATM & POS Terminal and transaction processing protocols etc. Solid Project Management skills. Knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes Knowledge database concepts and MS Office. About The Role Key Responsibilities Technical & Automation Expertise Lead system integrations related to InDesign and other design workflow tools. Develop and implement automation scripts (e.g., JavaScript, AppleScript, or ExtendScript) to optimize production workflows. Ensure best practices in template structuring, data merging, and variable content management. Project & Client Management Serve as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and timely project execution. Understand client requirements, translate them into actionable plans, and align deliverables with business goals. Provide technical guidance and training to team members on automation and integration best practices. Monitor project timelines, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency. Quality & Process Improvement Evaluate existing workflows and recommend process enhancements for greater efficiency and accuracy. Establish quality control measures to minimize errors and improve deliverable consistency. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation, scripting, and design technology. Qualifications & Skills Required: 10+ years of experience in Adobe InDesign with expertise in automation, scripting, and system integrations. Proficiency in InDesign scripting languages (JavaScript, AppleScript, ExtendScript, or GREP) is added advantage Experience with database-driven publishing, XML workflows, and template-based design automation. Strong project management skills with experience handling client communication and team coordination. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop scalable solutions for workflow optimization. Preferred: Experience in a high-volume production environment with automated publishing needs. Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and design-related automation tools. Knowledge of workflow automation software such as InDesign Server, EasyCatalog, or similar solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
