Green Building Expert

As a Green Building Expert, you will play a crucial role in our multidisciplinary team by leading or supporting sustainable building projects throughout the entire process - from concept to construction. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the seamless integration of energy efficiency, environmental compliance, and adherence to green certification requirements such as LEED, GRIHA, IGBC, or EDGE. Your responsibilities will include developing sustainable architectural designs that align with environmental objectives and local regulations. You will be expected to incorporate passive design strategies such as natural ventilation, solar orientation, and daylighting. Additionally, you will lead or assist in the certification processes for various green certifications, handling documentation, calculations, and audits with precision. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role, as you will coordinate with engineering, landscape, and sustainability consultants to implement green features effectively. Your expertise in tools like energy modeling, daylight simulation, and environmental analysis will be essential in driving the success of our projects. Moreover, you will actively participate in design reviews, stakeholder consultations, and capacity-building sessions to ensure project excellence. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture, Sustainable Design, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in green/sustainable architecture projects is required, along with proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and sustainable design tools like DesignBuilder and IES-VE. Familiarity with both local and international green building codes and standards is essential. While not mandatory, possessing professional certifications such as LEED AP (BD+C), GRIHA Certified Professional or Evaluator, IGBC Accredited Professional, or EDGE Expert would be advantageous to your application. Your commitment to sustainable practices and your ability to drive green design strategies from inception to implementation will be key to your success in this role.,
