The program is part of RAMP Scheme by Central Government, which is funded by World Bank. The program aims to conduct Resource Efficient & Cleaner Production (RECP) assessments of MSMEs across the state of Himachal Pradesh. Key Responsibilities: 1. Field Data Collection & Assessments Conduct on-site assessments at MSME facilities in assigned clusters. Collect and validate data on energy / water / materials / waste use and related performance KPIs. Observe existing systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and potential improvements. Coordinate with facility teams to ensure access to relevant areas and data. 2. Technical Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate logs / photos / field notes for each site visit. Identify recommendations in energy / water / waste and using data from site visit, quantify investment and payback period. 3. Stakeholder Engagement Build rapport with MSME owners and operations teams to understand current challenges. Educate facility staff on sustainability practices and encourage data sharing. Represent the project professionally, ensuring stakeholder cooperation and credibility. Conduct training / orientation of the facility managers appraising them about the program, benefits, and opportunities for improvements. 4. Coordination & Oversight Liaise with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for quality checks and remote guidance. Participate in review meetings and provide feedback from field-level experiences. Support logistics and scheduling for site visits across the assigned district(s). Provide feedback of the learnings and observations from the site visits. Preferred Profile: Postgraduate qualification (M.Tech. or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial sustainability, audits, or project implementation. Familiarity with MSME operations in manufacturing or allied sectors is a plus. Strong documentation and data interpretation skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, basic analytics, and report writing. Fluency in Hindi and English; local language skills are a bonus. Must be comfortable with extensive field travel across Himachal Pradesh.
