As a Unity Game Programmer at our Mumbai location, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and talented development team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain gameplay systems using C# in Unity. By collaborating closely with game designers, artists, and fellow programmers, you will contribute to creating immersive and performant game experiences that resonate with our players. Your role will also involve optimizing game performance across various platforms, including PC, mobile, and consoles. Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, debugging technical issues, and integrating third-party plugins, SDKs, and tools are key aspects of your day-to-day tasks. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews to uphold high-quality coding standards and contribute to the overall game architecture and design. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience with Unity3D and C#, a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and game architecture, and familiarity with version control systems like Git. Your expertise in 3D game development, along with knowledge of physics, animation, UI, and asset integration in Unity, will be essential for success. Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively, coupled with strong problem-solving and debugging skills, will set you apart as a valuable team member. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience with multiplayer/networked games, knowledge of shader programming and graphics pipelines, proficiency in deploying to multiple platforms, and an understanding of Agile or Scrum development processes.
