About the Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Graphic Designer to join our in-house team in Bangalore. Your core responsibility will be to design and layout our monthly Asli Kahani magazine, along with supporting visual content creation for other Sristar Group campaigns and brand initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and layout the monthly Asli Kahani magazine from cover to cover with visual harmony, engaging typography, and compelling layout aesthetics
• Create illustrations, covers, and article visuals that elevate the editorial tone and enhance reader experience
• Collaborate with editors, writers, and creative leads to visually translate meaningful stories
• Design social media graphics, posters, campaign visuals, and branding collaterals for Asli Kahani and other Sristar Group brands
• Maintain brand consistency while infusing fresh, creative ideas into every project
• Adapt visual content across different Indian languages where required
• Stay current with design trends and bring fresh perspectives to the table

Required Skills and Tools:

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva
• Strong grasp of editorial design, visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory
• A portfolio that demonstrates magazine or print publication design, with samples of social and digital assets
• Basic knowledge of prepress or print production
• Excellent English communication skills for coordination and brief understanding
• Bonus: Proficiency in Kannada, Tamil, or Telugu will be a strong added advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or Mass Communication (not mandatory with strong portfolio)
• One to three years of experience in editorial, branding, or visual communication
• Prior experience designing for both print and digital platforms
