Graphics compiler tooling and test engineer

As an engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in developing world-class GPU compiler products to enable high-performance graphics and compute with low power consumption. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with internal teams and customers, developing unit tests, identifying performance enhancements, and reporting functional issues. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure the delivery of a high-quality Graphics Compiler - Develop unit tests by writing shaders for specific scenarios - Identify potential performance enhancements - Report any functional issues Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency in C/C++ - Solid knowledge of OpenGL, DirectX, or Vulkan - Familiarity with 3D graphics profilers and debuggers, including RenderDoc, Pix, and NSight - Understanding of rendering pipelines for modern PC and console game engines - Experience with commercial game engines such as Unreal and Unity - Excellent skills in GPU performance analysis - Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities - Self-motivated and independent, capable of working with minimal supervision - Background in creating technical training materials - Experience in developing, profiling, and optimizing contemporary rendering algorithms Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer that provides accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
