Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, expertise in video editing, and a passion for creating compelling content that drives engagement and delivers our mission to a global audience.

You will be responsible for designing and editing various types of content, including YouTube videos, static social media posts, blog visuals, and landing pages.

Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing:

• Edit and produce high-quality YouTube videos, including adding subtitles, transitions, and animations.
• Enhance raw footage with appropriate music, effects, and overlays.
• Create engaging Instagram Reels and short-form video content.

Graphic Design:

• Design visually appealing static posts for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Collaborate with the team to develop compelling blog visuals that align with the content.
• Create user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing landing pages to support ARULA’s campaigns.

Content Development:

• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure designs align with the brand’s voice and mission.
• Generate creative ideas to enhance visual content strategies.
• Maintain consistency across all platforms by adhering to ARULA’s branding guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree (must)

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Experience with Canva and AI tools like MidJourney, Jasper, or similar for rapid design prototyping.
• Strong video editing skills with tools like Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Familiarity with website-building platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow) for landing pages.
• Preferred if the candidate has a high functioning device (example - iPhone)

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling.
• Proficiency in English is MUST.

Experience:

• 0-1 years of professional experience (minimum) in graphic design and video editing.
• Prior experience in edtech or working with non-profit/mission-driven brands is a plus.
