Graphic Designer

Role & responsibilities

Graphic Design & Artwork Development

• Develop creative graphic designs, prints, and embroidery patterns for garment samples based on buyer requirements.
• Create digital mock-ups, technical sketches, and artwork presentations for new garment designs.
• Ensure all artwork is aligned with brand guidelines and international fashion trends.
• Modify and refine designs based on feedback from buyers, merchandisers, and the sampling team.

Sampling & Product Development Support

• Work closely with the sampling team to create accurate digital representations of proposed garment styles.
• Provide design inputs for fabric prints, color combinations, and embroidery techniques to enhance the final product.
• Assist in the selection of graphic placements and print sizes for different garments, ensuring production feasibility.

3. Collaboration & Coordination

• Coordinate with merchandising and production teams to ensure timely development of samples.
• Communicate with printers, fabric mills, and embroidery units to finalize production-ready designs.
• Collaborate with fashion designers to translate their concepts into visually appealing graphic elements.

4. Market & Trend Research

• Stay updated with global fashion trends, print techniques, and graphic design innovations in the garment industry.
• Research and analyze competitor designs to create unique and competitive garment graphics.
• Experiment with new textures, patterns, and visual elements to offer innovative design solutions.

5. File Management & Technical Documentation

• Prepare and maintain detailed design files, including vector artwork, tech packs, and color codes.
• Ensure all files are organized and archived properly for easy access during production.

Provide technical specifications and design layouts to the production team for seamless execution.

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree/Diploma in Fashion, Textile, or Graphic Designing
• Experience in garment graphic designing (export/apparel industry preferred)
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW
• Strong knowledge of prints, embroidery artworks, and digital mock-ups
• Familiar with tech packs, CAD sketches, and file management
• Updated with global fashion trends and print techniques
• Creative, detail-oriented, and trend-adaptive
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Prior experience in export houses/garment manufacturing is preferred
