Job Description for Graphic Desinger at Symbion Lifescience

We are looking for a highly skilled Graphic Designer with strong expertise in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva, and proven experience in designing labels, cartons/boxes, and foils for pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with a deep understanding of pharmaceutical branding and regulatory compliance to deliver visually appealing, scientifically accurate, and compliant design materials.

The role requires close collaboration with marketing, regulatory, and production teams to ensure designs meet branding, technical, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop labels, box/carton artworks, blister foils, packaging layouts, and other product-related materials as per industry standards.
• Create visual aids, brochures, leaflets, banners, presentations, and digital creatives for product promotion.
• Ensure all designs comply with pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines (packaging norms, readability, labeling accuracy).
• Collaborate with regulatory and production teams to ensure correct technical specifications, color codes, and print standards for packaging materials.
• Work on digital marketing assets including social media graphics, website creatives, and email campaign visuals.
• Translate complex medical/scientific content into clear, engaging, and brand-consistent graphics.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy and within tight deadlines.
• Stay updated on design trends and new packaging innovations relevant to pharmaceuticals.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva.
• Proven experience in label design, box/carton design, and foil design within the pharmaceutical sector.
• In-depth understanding of print and packaging design standards.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical branding and compliance requirements.
• Strong creativity with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree / Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Graphic Designer in the pharmaceutical industry (mandatory).
• Portfolio showcasing pharmaceutical label, packaging, and promotional design work.
