Graphic Designer Intern

Summary

SmartR Spaces is looking for a driven graphic design intern who can create high-impact, on-brand sales and marketing

content—including product one-pagers, brochures, WhatsApp shareables, and social media visuals/videos. This is a hands-on role:

you’ll be producing real, customer-facing material for direct use by the sales team, WhatsApp, Instagram, and the website. If you

aren’t fast, detail-oriented, and ready to work with incomplete instructions and tight deadlines, don’t apply.

Key Responsibilities

Design product one-pagers for every home automation line (lighting, security, audio, AV, etc.), ready for print, WhatsApp,

and email in PDF/JPG formats

Create and update multi-page brochures for company presentations and walk-ins (print and digital)

Produce concise WhatsApp shareable flyers and quick info sheets for Sales team

Edit short-form marketing videos from brand-provided raw footage and your own animated assets—export for

WhatsApp, Instagram/Reels, and website embeds

Design Instagram/Facebook post graphics and stories matching SmartR Spaces branding

Prepare banner layouts for events, pop-ups, and on-site promotions (print-ready and digital)

Create simple case-study sheets and client testimonial visuals

Work with the founders to align all designs with sales messaging; adapt global brand materials for the Indian/JPR context

Maintain an organized asset library (logos, icons, templates, past work) for team access

Handle last-minute content tweaks and minor web-graphic edits (WordPress/Shopify experience is a plus)

Be available for quick-turnaround tasks; deliver most requested content within 48 hours

Requirements

Basic to intermediate proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and basic video editors (Premiere, InShot, or similar)

Portfolio (even student work) showing brochures, flyers, social posts, or short marketing videos

Fast learner: Able to copy/adapt from sample materials and brand content with minimal supervision

Ability to write catchy, typo-free English headlines and content (Hindi copy a bonus but not required)

Comfortable handling 2-3 design tasks per day; able to manage feedback and make changes quickly

Self-motivated, proactive, and fully accountable for deadlines—zero hand-holding

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

Basic video animation (text overlays, simple transitions)

Interest in tech, home decor, or smart home products
