Graphic Designer Image Editor

The Image Editor position involves reviewing and editing images created by staff photographers to prepare them for publication on eCommerce sites. Your responsibilities will include retouching and enhancing images for web publication, performing tasks such as clipping paths, color correction, background adjustments, and removing imperfections. It is essential to maintain accurate image files and ensure smooth image transfer to production applications. Working efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines is crucial. Collaboration with the team to uphold high-quality standards and effective communication of project status and progress are also part of the role. Key requirements for this position include proven experience in enhancing and retouching images using Photoshop, specifically product, food, and package images. Strong knowledge of color theory, design principles, and composition is essential. The ability to work with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is required. Experience with software such as Photoshop, Pixlr, Affinity Photo, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred. Any photography experience would be considered a plus.
