Job Title: Graphic Designer

1. Job Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our digital and marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging visual content for the a E-Commerce platform, social media campaigns, learning modules, marketing promotions, and brand communication materials.

The role requires strong artistic skills, proficiency in design tools, an understanding of digital content trends, and the ability to transform ideas into compelling visuals aligned with brand identity.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Creative Design & Visual Communication

  • Create high-quality graphics, banners, posters, infographics, thumbnails, and visual assets for the website and social media platforms.
  • Design product images, course thumbnails, promotional creatives, and ad graphics for paid campaigns.
  • Execute visually appealing layouts for landing pages, web pages, and course pages in collaboration with web designers.
  • Develop branded design templates, digital brochures, pitch decks, and presentation materials.

B. Marketing & Campaign Design

  • Design marketing collaterals for digital campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, YouTube banners).
  • Create email marketing visuals, newsletter layouts, and promotional flyers.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to translate campaign ideas into strong visual concepts.
  • Ensure all creative assets meet brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

C. Social Media & Content Design

  • Create visually engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter.
  • Design animated social media graphics, GIFs, and reels (basic motion graphics preferred).
  • Support in building visual storytelling formats for EdTech content (course modules, student highlights, faculty intros).

D. Video Support (Basic Editing)

  • Assist with basic video editing tasks such as intros/outros, lower thirds, titles, and transitions.
  • Support the video team with design assets, thumbnails, banners, and overlays for video modules.

E. Branding & Identity Management

  • Maintain and evolve the Najah Tutors brand identity across platforms.
  • Ensure design consistency across all visual communications.
  • Develop brand guidelines and ensure compliance across teams.

F. Collaboration & Review

  • Collaborate with the web design, marketing, content, and product teams to ensure unified project goals.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative direction and concept development.
  • Maintain version control and organize design files within shared repositories.
  • Incorporate feedback quickly and deliver designs within strict timelines.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

A. Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as:
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Canva
  • Figma (optional but preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Filmora, CapCut, or similar).
  • Ability to create vector graphics, icons, illustrations, and layout compositions.
  • Understanding of typography, color theory, design grids, and UI design principles.

B. Creative Skills

  • Strong visual imagination, artistic sense, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to conceptualize, storyboard, and translate ideas into compelling graphics.
  • Ability to design for digital platforms optimizing for clarity, engagement, and conversions.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a mix of brand, digital, and social media design work.

C. Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
  • High adaptability to evolving project requirements.

4. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Digital Media, or an equivalent field.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in EdTech, E-Commerce, or Digital Marketing industry.
  • Portfolio is mandatory and will be evaluated for creative quality.

5. Preferred Experience

  • Experience designing creatives for EdTech, E-Com, or LMS platforms.
  • Understanding of digital campaign requirements (ad sizes, formats, CTA placement).
  • Experience with basic motion graphics or animations.
  • Experience collaborating with video creators and marketing teams.
