Graphic Designer (AI-Assisted Children’s Book Creation)

About the Role

We are building children’s storybooks inspired by Indian stories and values, using a mix of creative design and AI tools. We are looking for a creative graphic designer who is comfortable using AI tools for illustration and layout, and can turn simple story scripts into visually engaging children’s books.

This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys experimenting, iterating quickly, and creating child-friendly visuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Create illustrations and page designs for children’s books using AI tools + design software
• Design cover pages, inner pages, and full book layouts
• Maintain consistent characters, colors, and visual style across pages
• Work closely with the content/story team to translate text into visuals
• Prepare files for ebook and print formats (basic understanding required)
• Make quick edits and iterations based on feedback

Required Skills

• Strong skills in Graphic Design
• Experience using AI image generation tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / Canva / InDesign
• Understanding of children’s design aesthetics (bright, simple, expressive visuals)
• Ability to follow visual consistency across multiple pages
• Good attention to detail and openness to feedback

Work Model

• Hybrid role
• Mandatory in-office work on Saturdays (Pune location)
• Remaining days can be remote (as agreed)

Test Phase Details

• 1-month full-time paid test phase
• Performance-based continuation / long-term opportunity

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
