You will play a critical role as a Visual Designer - Platform at Keka, creating visually compelling designs for the platform. The ideal candidate should have 3-6 years of experience in visual communication, illustration, motion, and graphic content. You will be responsible for aligning illustrations with brand principles, developing an icon set, creating graphic material for product communication, and defining motion guidelines for the product. Collaboration with design system designers is essential to contribute to the design system tokens and ensure a harmonious visual experience across all elements. Additionally, you will create collaterals for various channels to attract top talent to the design team. Working closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Leadership, you will be involved in strategy development and implementation. Your role will involve continuous user-centered testing, feedback gathering, and iterative improvements to achieve the desired quality. You should have a proactive attitude towards managing and prioritizing parallel projects within timelines. Strong communication and presentation skills will be vital to articulate your design thought process effectively. The ideal candidate should have 3-6 years of work experience, preferably in a product-based startup environment. A strong portfolio demonstrating visual design work and illustrations is required. Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop is essential. Understanding visual design principles and their impact on user experience, along with attention to detail and a drive for excellence, are key qualities we are looking for. You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be updated with the latest visual design trends, and have experience in SaaS, feature explainer video creation, and an interest in contributing to design systems would be a bonus.
