Senior Interior Designer Location: Kochi / Calicut Job Type: Full-time About Us Grande Signature is a premium kitchen and wardrobe brand. We have multiple showrooms and office in Kerala in kochi , tripunithura, muvattupuzha and calicut. We have multiple factories for production and need a senior designer who can handle design work and also manage site and coordinate with our production team. Role Summary You will take measurements from site and design kitchens, wardrobes, and interiors, create 2D drawings and 3D models, prepare renders, visit sites for measurements, and coordinate with production and factory teams to make sure designs are built exactly as planned. after that coordinate with the installation team to get it installed properly. What You Will Do Create 2D drawings for kitchens, wardrobes, and interior layouts. Build 3D models and high-quality renders using design software. Visit client sites to take correct measurements. Visit factories to explain designs and discuss technical details. Work with the production team to solve fitting issues and material choices. Make changes to drawings when needed after site visits. Prepare design presentations for clients. Ensure designs match the Grande Signature brand style and finish. Keep project files and measurements organised and updated. Make sure the installation is done properly. Skills We Need Strong skills in AutoCAD , SketchUp , rendering with D5 or similar tools. Good understanding of modular kitchen and wardrobe systems. Strong design sense and attention to detail. Ability to take accurate site measurements. Good communication with clients, factory workers, and production teams. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. Problem-solving mindset. Attention to detail. Experience Minimum 3–5 years experience in interior design. Experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, and factory-based production is a strong plus. Experience with Kerala market materials and site conditions preferred. Role Summary You will visit our partner factories, check production, inspect materials, review quality, and make sure the final kitchen units have the same finish, colour, edge quality, fit, and feel across all locations. You will be our quality gatekeeper in every factory. What You Will Do Travel to partner factories and production units across Kerala. Inspect materials before production starts (boards, laminates, hardware, fittings). Check production at key stages to maintain a uniform finish. Test kitchen units for correct size, fit, and smooth installation. Ensure all kitchens meet Grande Signature standards. Report quality issues with photos, notes, and suggestions. Work closely with factory teams to solve problems fast. Maintain a simple quality checklist and daily inspection logs. Train partner workers when needed to keep finish and build the same. Skills We Need Good knowledge of modular kitchen production and materials. Strong eye for finish details (edges, colour match, alignment, gaps, surface look). Clear communication with factory teams and vendors. Willingness to travel often. Organised and responsible. Basic computer skills for reports (Word/Excel/notes, emails). Problem-solving mindset. Experience 2+ years in modular kitchen or furniture production or factory quality inspection. Experience working with multiple manufacturing partners is a plus.
