Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a VMC Operator located in Delhi, India. The VMC Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to perform various machining tasks, including milling, drilling, and tapping. The operator will interpret technical drawings and blueprints, select appropriate tools and materials, and ensure that the machine operates efficiently to produce high-quality components. Daily tasks also include routine maintenance of the machine, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and inspecting completed parts for accuracy and quality. Qualifications Experience in operating and setting up Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints Knowledge of selecting and using appropriate tools and materials for various machining tasks Understanding of routine machine maintenance and safety standards Inspection and quality assurance skills to verify accuracy and quality of machined parts Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining is a plus Experience in the manufacturing or machining industry is desirable
