We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in data science and business analytics to support and optimize our last-mile delivery operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with large datasets, strong data visualization skills, and the ability to generate actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and business performance. This role will be on a consultant basis. Mandatory Requisites: - Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related field. - Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL and visualization softwares (Metabase, Power BI). - Strong understanding of data collection, cleansing and validation techniques. - Experience working with large datasets and generating actionable insights. - Preferred: Familiarity with last-mile delivery logistics and grocery/e-commerce delivery operations. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. - Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Job Description: - Analyze business data related to last-mile delivery operations to identify trends, patterns, opportunities and gaps for improvement. - Track key performance metrics across delivery operations, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. - Collaborate with the Data MIS team to generate, standardize and automate business reports. - Develop dashboards and visualizations that provide clear insights to stakeholders. - Work closely with relevant departments (operations, supply, risk, payroll) to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. - Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making and strategic planning. - Monitor progress of initiatives by tracking actionables and outcomes with stakeholders. - Identify gaps and inconsistencies in data and propose solutions for data quality improvement. - Ability to lead and monitor a team of relevant analysts. As a Business Analyst – Last-Mile Operations , you will be responsible for analysing operational data to drive delivery performance improvements and support strategic initiatives across delivery networks. Key Responsibilities: Analyse large data sets related to last-mile delivery performance to identify trends, gaps and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with the MIS team to standardise and automate key operational reports and dashboards. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery time, time-motion, SLA, cost per delivery and overall performance. Work cross-functionally with teams such as Operations, Supply, Risk and Payroll to understand business needs and recommend data-driven solutions. Support strategic planning by translating business questions into data models and actionable insights. Track the implementation and impact of business initiatives by monitoring actionable and outcome metrics. Identify data inconsistencies, root causes of operational inefficiencies and propose enhancements to data systems and workflows. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5-7 years of relevant experience. Preferred quick-commerce, last-mile logistics, ecommerce, foodtech or similar industry. Experience with delivery operations is a strong plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools.
