Job Title: Receptionist / Front Office Executive Location: Budigere Cross (Hosakote), Bengaluru Company: GR HOTELS & RESORTS (LAHR) Experience: 1 to 3 years preferred Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are looking for a professional and friendly Receptionist to manage our front desk at Club House. You will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and vendors, and play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Front Desk Operations Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival. Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the hotel’s reservation system. Assign rooms and issue room keys or key cards. Maintain accurate guest records and update information as needed. 2. Guest Relations Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints. Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Ensure guest satisfaction and escalate issues to management when necessary. 3. Reservations & Bookings Manage phone, email, and online reservations. Confirm bookings, process cancellations, and handle no-shows. Coordinate with travel agents and online booking partners. 4. Communication & Coordination Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs. Relay messages, mail, or packages to guests and staff accurately. Maintain smooth communication between shifts through proper handovers. 5. Payments & Billing Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments securely. Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and bills. Balance daily transactions and submit reports to accounts. 6. Administrative Support Maintain front desk logs and documentation. Assist with report generation and filing. Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming. 7. Professional Conduct Maintain confidentiality of guest information. Adhere to hotel policies, grooming standards, and safety procedures. Uphold a professional, courteous, and service-oriented attitude at all times. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of front office/reception experience preferred. Good communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi . Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, WhatsApp). Pleasant personality, punctual, and customer-oriented.
