1 Building first mile & last mile capacity through hiring partners and ensuring proper placement of vehicles as per schedules. 2 Identified leads through online/ field sources; be the point of contact interviewed Negotiation & selected partners 3 Conducting Vendor ROI (Return on Investment) and Profit & Loss analysis 4 Engaged with the existing new business partners in managing their performances and increased the service levels. 5 Organizing & driving training programs for improving existing and new partners service and performance. 6 Help and coordinate vendor onboarding processes. 7 Ensuring optimum utilization of vendor resources through data analysis & strategy implementation. 8 Escalations/Grievance Handling and retaining Business Partners 9 Managing Business partner relations within the Operations Department. 10 Identify improvement areas internally as well as perform closely with all internal stakeholders to prepare solutions.

Role & responsibilities Develop new accounts to meet sales targets through effective technical sales presentations and utilization of support services. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 5+ years of sales of Logistics software / Insurance/Commercial Vehicles/ Tyres etc; any sales of commercial fleet owners will be an add-on. Excellent liaising with potential customers. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute new business development initiatives to leverage business performance. Opportunity with Nandan Petrochem Ltd. a Nandan Group Company for oils, lubricants and greases business as a Logistics Executive who will be based in our plants at Jamshedpur, Varanasi and Kamrup (Rural) in Guwahati. JOB PROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CANDIDATE : 1. Proper allocation of Transporter based on location expertise and type of vehicle. 2. New vendor development & management. 3. Preparing and Updating vendor agreement. 4. Co-ordination with Vendor-Trucking company for vehicle number and vehicle report status and within the team for information related to vehicle placement. 5. Ensuring 90% utilisation of loadibility of the truck. 6. Doing route planning which should be effective and cost efficient. Ensuring continous improvement in same. Also doing GPS tracking of the vehicle. 7. Maintaining transit time sheet of all transporters. 8. Transport bill checking, signing and forwarding to next level and ensuring on time bill payment. 9. Ensuring proper logistics data is entered in system about location added, loaded, material availability, vehicle report,etc. 10. Data making & analysis. Timely & correctly Transport delivery MIS. 11. Ensuring Monthly Bank ledger reconciliation with concern Transporters. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : Should have minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Transportation/Logistics Management. Should atleast be a graduate. Diploma or any higher degree in Logistics or similar field is preferred.

Implement digitization & automation initiatives to improve fleet tracking, route optimization, and real-time visibility. Supply Chain Strategy & Performance: Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives and process improvements across the supply chain. Drive KPIs like OTIF (On-Time In-Full), inventory turnover, and cost per delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, planning, procurement) to align supply chain strategies with business goals. Spearhead network expansion projects, including setting up new warehouses and improving distribution models. Key Qualifications & Experience: 12-15 years of experience in supply chain operations (warehousing & transportation focus). At least 10 years of experience in regional supply chain roles, with 2-5 years in a national leadership role. Strong expertise in warehouse management, transportation networks, and logistics cost optimization. Proven track record in 3PL/vendor management, contract negotiations, and process automation. Experience in implementing technology-driven solutions (WMS, TMS, GPS tracking, etc.). Hands-on leadership in large-scale distribution and logistics networks for home durables or FMCG.
