Key Responsibilities : Prepare detailed civil drawings including: Plan & profile views Bore profiles (HDD) with alignment, depth, and clearances Trench and duct bank cross-sections Manhole/handhole/chamber construction drawings As-built drawings for project handover and records Develop and maintain accurate Basemaps consolidating survey data, GIS inputs, and existing utility information. Ensure Basemap accuracy by verifying road ROW (Right of Way), parcel boundaries, utility layers, and aerial/satellite imagery. Draft permit drawings for submission to municipalities, DOTs, and other authorities, ensuring compliance with all jurisdictional standards Incorporate notes, legends, and standard details required for permit approval packages. Create traffic control and construction phasing drawings as part of the permitting process. Review and update permit revisions as per client or authority feedback. Analyze and interpret utility plans (storm, sewage, water, gas, electric) and reflect them clearly in basemaps/permit drawings. Coordinate with permit teams, surveyors, and municipalities to resolve design conflicts Maintain drawing accuracy, version control, and documentation discipline. Telecom & Project Support : Support FTTH/FTTB deployments with accurate civil designs. Work closely with surveyors, project managers, and field teams to validate design feasibility. Incorporate as-built data into utility mapping for long-term network management. Provide civil engineering input during quality checks, construction monitoring, and troubleshooting. Candidate should know how to make and read drawings such as manhole, handhole, sewage and gas line type drawings.
