Experience: 2 to 3 Years Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-time Department: Electrical Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented LabVIEW Developer with strong working knowledge of SQL databases to design, develop, and maintain automated test and control systems. The role involves building data acquisition applications, integrating test hardware, and managing backend data using SQL for storage, analysis, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop custom LabVIEW applications for data acquisition, process control, and test automation. Interface LabVIEW programs with various instruments and hardware systems using protocols like RS232, Modbus, GPIB, or TCP/IP. Integrate and manage SQL databases for storing and retrieving test and measurement data. Develop SQL queries, procedures, and reports to support production and R&D analysis. Implement robust data logging and system diagnostics through database integration. Maintain clear documentation for all developed systems including user manuals and code annotations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and QA for system integration. Follow software development best practices including modular programming, version control, and code reviews. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field. 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in LabVIEW application development. Proficient in SQL with experience in creating databases, writing queries, and handling data relationships. Experience with NI hardware such as DAQ, PXI, cRIO, or CompactDAQ systems. Good understanding of relational database concepts and integration of LabVIEW with SQL (via LabVIEW Database Connectivity Toolkit or custom scripting). Familiarity with LabVIEW development best practices, NI style guidelines, and error handling techniques. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NI TestStand or other test automation frameworks. Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN, etc.). Knowledge of other programming languages like Python or C# is a plus. Experience in manufacturing or R&D environments is advantageous. CTC: As per company norms / Based on experience
