PRIMARY: Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely deduction and deposit of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). Preparation and filing of TDS returns. Handling TDS reconciliation and addressing any discrepancies. Prepare and file ROI for clients and the organization. Ensure accurate and timely submission of ROI. Calculate and ensure timely payment of Advance Tax. Review and manage advance tax projections. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and ensure compliance. Prepare and maintain accurate tax records and reports. Act as a point of contact for clients regarding tax-related queries. Provide guidance on tax planning and strategies REPORTING STRUCTURE (DAILY, WEEKLY OR MONTHLY BASIS): Oral reporting to HOD on a Daily basis and Pending work status should be reported to HOD on a weekly basis. SECONDARY: Supervising and guiding article assistants Follow up for rectification applications and pending refunds of various clients Supporting the tax team in day-to-day assignments Solving day to day queries of client Preparing and sharing tax and legal updates and conducting training sessions for team Assisting Seniors in preparing standards LEARNINGS: Technical updation by attending educational workshops Reviewing professional publications by BCAJ, WIRC, ICAI, Income tax Review of CITC etc. Reading books like commentary books, ITR, SOT, ITD etc. Participating in professional groups Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field. Skills: Strong knowledge of TDS, ROI filing, and advance tax computation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel. Good academic background. Proficiency in Tally; familiarity with Wingman software is a plus.
