Job Summary Were looking for a PHP Developer to build and enhance secure, high-performance web applications. Youll be working with CodeIgniter or Laravel frameworks, creating APIs, managing databases, and collaborating with a cross-functional team. Key Responsibilities Web App Development Build scalable PHP applications using CodeIgniter or Laravel . Write clean, modular, and well-documented code. API & Integration Create RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. Work with mobile or web clients that use these APIs. Database Management Design and manage databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL). Optimize database queries and ensure data security and migration. Code Quality & Security Use best practices to guard against SQL injection, XSS, CSRF. Improve performance with caching, indexing, load balancing. Debug and resolve issues to maintain smooth operations. Team Collaboration & Agile Work Work with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and project leads. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews. Document architecture decisions and code standards. Test & Deploy Perform unit and integration tests. Support deployments in development, staging, and production setups. Monitor app health and implement timely fixes. Required Skills 2 to 3 years of solid PHP development experience using CodeIgniter or Laravel. Good knowledge in front-end basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap . Familiar with database systems: MySQL , PostgreSQL , or MongoDB . Hands-on with RESTful APIs and version control tools (Git, Bitbucket). Experience with MVC and OOP design principles. Good working knowledge/skills in AI tools Claude, Co-pilot, Gemini etc Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
