As a Data Engineer at our company, you will collaborate with a world-class team to drive the telecom business to its full potential. Your responsibilities will include working closely with business product owners, data scientists, and system architects to develop strategic data solutions from various sources such as batch, file, and data streams. You will be utilizing your expertise in ETL/ELT processes to integrate structured and unstructured data into our data warehouse and data lake for real-time streaming and batch processing, enabling data-driven insights and analytics for business teams within Verizon. Key Responsibilities: - Understanding business requirements and translating them into technical designs. - Data ingestion, preparation, and transformation. - Developing data streaming applications. - Resolving production failures and identifying solutions. - Working on ETL/ELT development. - Contributing to DevOps pipelines and understanding the DevOps process.
